First off, I started off with a Kings of Leon pack and this is to appeal to the more mainstream fans. They have some very good older songs that would be fun and so has their new album. I also used Use Somebody. Sorry everybody. These songs would be easy on guitar but I'd imagine would be difficult on vocals. The Bucket also sounds incredibly fun on drums.
Next, how a bit of Old Go- Poets of the Fall. Very good cinematic band. This is a weird pack. The 1st song sounds very hard on guitar but the others (other than one bit in Sorry Go 'Round) sound very easy. Drums don't sound overly difficult for experienced players and bass shouldn't be a big problem. Vocalist might have a very fun time with these songs as they sound difficult.
Ah, good ol' Halford. I chose this because it sounds like an amazing pack to have on Guitar Hero. All the songs, even the easy ones, sound very fun to play on guitar, drums and vocals. Bass I'm not 100% about though, but I bet they would be fun! Yes, I used Painkiller but it's it's not the first time a song has been repeated *cough*Free Bird*cough* and it'd be brilliant anyway. A challenging pack for old school metal fans.
And finally, a good bit of Punk Metal. Snot were mental and Lynn was brilliant. R.I.P. btw. Snot would be very fun on everything and also tough (well, not vocals). The other too, not as hard but still very awesome songs that would find their place in my library. Drums would be the stand-out here as they sound very though on all of the songs.

  1. Children Of The Elder God = Epic song for Guitar Hero.
Judas Priest would be brilliant but I think they're a bit funny about songs in music games now. Painkiller had complications for GH:VH and Hell Bent For Leather wouldn't export from the GH:M pack.
Also JP songs as RB DLC are live versions now. Part of me wants to say they've gone the way of Led Zep and don't want to use any of their old masters for GH/RB games anymore. It's a shame because they're a kickass metal band and the songs you've chosen would be even better on GH.
I think I can guess the band for the 13th March. RB fans will not be aMUSEd.
